# Editing and export problems

> Fix AI editing, canvas, font, PPTX, and PDF problems.

## Cloud

* Ask for one specific edit and identify the target slide.
* Refresh the presentation and confirm the latest saved state before retrying.
* Check text overflow, image crops, fonts, charts, and tables before export.
* Open the exported file in a supported viewer to distinguish export problems from preview differences.

## Self-hosted

* Confirm the requested canvas object exists and is supported by the editor.
* Check provider logs when AI edits return invalid or incomplete content.
* Verify `/app_data` is writable and the export runtime can open its internal render page.
* Check available memory and browser-rendering logs when export stops unexpectedly.
* Confirm custom fonts are installed or embedded as required by the deployment.
