# Structured data

> Use CSV, spreadsheet, JSON, and application data in presentations.

Structured data works well for repeatable reporting, metrics summaries, and generated decks from product or business systems. Keep fields clear so Presenton can preserve meaning.

## Prepare data

* Use descriptive column names.
* Include units, dates, segments, and labels.
* Remove rows that should not appear in the presentation.
* Explain the decision or story the data should support.
* Verify calculated values and chart labels before sharing.
