Use slide editing controls when the change affects a complete slide or the presentation sequence.

Manage slides

Add slides

Add a blank or generated slide at the position where new content belongs. Choose a layout that matches the slide’s purpose before adding detailed content.

Duplicate slides

Duplicate a slide when the new slide should retain the same structure or visual treatment. Replace duplicated content and verify that hidden or overlapping elements do not carry over unintentionally.

Delete slides

Delete slides that are no longer required. Review neighboring slides afterward so the narrative still connects correctly.

Reorder slides

Drag slide thumbnails into the intended order. Check section transitions, references to earlier slides, numbering, and the table of contents after reordering.

Change slide design

Apply templates

Apply a built-in or saved custom template when a slide needs a different reusable design. Confirm that the new layout supports the slide’s content types.

Edit slide layouts

Adjust the layout when content needs different spacing, columns, alignment, or hierarchy. Select the relevant parent layout before changing child placement.
After changing a template or layout, review text wrapping, image crops, chart labels, table dimensions, and element overlap.

Template Editing

Create and refine reusable layouts.

Canvas Editing

Edit individual elements inside a slide.
