Open Source uses Standard V2, a presentation format designed for direct editing. Text, images, shapes, tables, charts, and reusable blocks remain separate objects on the slide. That means you can:
  • Click and edit text directly
  • Move, resize, rotate, group, and reorder objects
  • Change images, icons, tables, and charts
  • Ask the AI assistant to update one part of a slide
  • Export supported objects as editable PowerPoint content

Templates still guide the design

The canvas is flexible, but it does not start from nothing. Each template supplies complete layouts and reusable blocks so new slides remain visually consistent.

About older templates

This documentation follows the format selected by the version switch above. Standard V1 templates belong to older releases and are not an alternate mode in the current documentation.
