Transform an element

Enable Select Edit

Turn on Select Edit, then select the element you want to move.

Move or transform

Drag to move the selection. Use its handles or toolbar controls to resize or rotate it.

Align the result

Use alignment and distribution controls when several elements need consistent edges or spacing.

Inspect the slide

Check alignment, spacing, overlap, text wrapping, image crops, and the relationship with nearby content.
A parent layout can control the position of its children. If an element snaps back, select the parent block, adjust its layout, or ungroup the content before moving the child independently.
Use keyboard movement or position controls when a small adjustment is easier than dragging.
