Edit an image

Select the image
Enable Select Edit and select the image element on the slide.

Choose the change
Replace the image or adjust its crop, fit, zoom, flip, opacity, corner radius, size, or position with the available controls.

Review the result
Confirm the subject remains visible, the crop has the intended focus, and the image does not cover text or other visuals.
Replace or refit an image
Open Update Image when it is available for the selected image:- Search or generate: Find a stock image or describe a new visual when an image provider is available.
- Upload: Add an image from your device or reuse an uploaded asset.
- Edit: Replace the image and choose the available fill, contain, or stretch behavior.
- Focus point: Control which part remains visible when the frame crops the image.
Preserve visual quality
- Use an image with enough resolution for its displayed size.
- Keep the aspect ratio unless intentional distortion is part of the design.
- Check contrast when text or icons overlap the image.
- Prefer screenshots, diagrams, or specific photographs that explain the content over generic decoration.
- Verify image placement again after exporting the presentation.
Edit an icon
- Select the icon in Select Edit mode.
- Replace it when a different symbol communicates the idea more clearly.
- Adjust supported color, opacity, size, and position controls.
- Compare its stroke, fill, scale, and alignment with other icons in the deck.
